Fake Blueberries?

photo Google Images

Exactly why was I shocked when I watched the video below? I'm not sure. I should know better.

Blueberries faked in cereals, muffins, bagels and other food products - Food Investigations - NaturalNews.tv

Do yourself a favor and watch this. Like a friend of mine says over and over, "Even when you think you are eating healthy you really aren't."

Grow your own food, people. Grow your own!

Rachel at Dog Island Farm had this, and that is where I caught it. I find it beyond disgusting. Like I posted on Rachel's blog, these multi-national companies don't care about you or your family's health only the dollar.
I make my own buscuit mix and keep either dried berries and fruit I dry myself or I have canned or frozen, and put it in my muffins. I at least know what is in it. And it doesn't take much of your time to make a mix from scratch.
Maybe if we all keep harping, just maybe everyone will get the message.
Like you said, People, wake up and grow your own or do it yourself.

I can't say I'm surprised, but as I've been eating the Kellog Mini-Wheats,I thought I would look at the package. The front of the box has the words Blueberry Muffin Flavour prominently displayed half way up the box front. At the very bottom of the front of the box are the words Natural & Artificial Flavours. And as this is Canada one half of the box front is in English, the other side is in French. There is no logo on the side panel and no "The Whole Truth" either. The list of ingredients contains the word "colour" twice. But there is no mention of red #40 or blue #1, I'm wondering if the laws on labeling are less stringent in the U.S.A. than in Canada.

What I meant to say was more stringent in the US.A.
